Join MISDAKids on Mondays, as we post a service idea to encourage children to be missionaries for Jesus.  We pray these activities will help kids find joy in serving Jesus every day.  Comment or post a picture on our Facebook or Instagram pages of your mission experience to inspire others to be missionaries for Jesus, too!

Thank a Mail Carrier

February 4th is Thank a Mail Carrier Day.  It is highly likely that it is cold or snowy where you are.  Don't let that keep you from doing something special to let your mail carrier know how much you appreciate them.

Handwritten Compliments

This week provides some special opportunities to be a missionary.  Today is National Handwriting Day, and Tuesday is Compliment Day.  MISDAKids wants you to use your best handwriting to create some beautiful letters or cards to encourage someone who could use cheering up.  Grab your paper and pencils, and let’s get started.

Let's Get Juicin'

Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve."  Let's follow his example this week as we go out being Missionaries for Jesus.  January 15-21 is National Fresh Squeezed Juice Week.  It's time to work on our service and squeeze up a cup of juice for someone you love.

Police Officer Appreciation

Join MISDAKids in celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.  Print one of these tags and attach it to a pair of hand warmers or comfortable gloves.  Let one of your local police officers know you appreciate them and are praying for them.

RAISIN You Up in Prayer

What better way to start the new year than to let someone know you're praying for them!  Print these tags, and tape them to a pack of raisins.  Mail them to a friend, give them to a neighbor, or visit a church member who you haven't seen in a while.  Pray with them over the phone or in person and let them know that you have put them on your prayer list.
